Use regular detergent.
Choose liquid or powder detergent with no added softener. Pods are not recommended.
Skip fabric softener.
Fabric softener buildup can leave fibers crusty or oily.
Hang dry, then fluff.
Hang your blanket to dry, then fluff in the dryer on air only (no heat).
Never use heat.
Do not iron, dry clean, or bleach your blanket.
